Some of the benefits you develop by traing at Unbroken Circle Integrated Martial Arts.

The study of the martial arts at Unbroken Circle is a privilege. This opportunity is open to all students who are willing to put forth the effort and live by a higher standard. There are many attributes students will develop during his or her training at Unbroken Circle:

  • Flexibility - comes from regular stretching. Over time, stretching tones the muscles and relaxes the body. It enhances circulation reducing stress that otherwise accumulates and destroys the balance in the body.
  • Agility - is the ability to change direction or body position quickly and proceed smoothly with another movement. Agility is very important in that it links martial art skills to work together quickly and coherently.
  • Awareness - of the surrounding environment can prevent sudden accidents or external threats from materializing.
  • Endurance - enables you to go the extra mile and achieve your goal. Through regular practice of physical techniques, breathing exercises and good diet both mental and physical stamina will improve.
  • Coordination - is the ability to integrate physical and psychological processes into an efficient pattern of movement. Martial arts practice develops coordination by drilling a variety of eye-hand, eye-foot and hand-foot skills.
  • Accuracy - comes from the precise execution of movements by corresponding muscles. Since every technique in the marital arts has a particular purpose and target area, accuracy becomes second nature through practice. The habit of accurate execution of techniques brings out an accurate way of thinking in daily decision-making.
  • Power - is one of the most critical factors in safety and control. Since the martial arts applications are, in their purest form, a system of conflict resolution between opposing forces, increased mental and physical power is a natural benefit of training.
  • Confidence - is a product of the ability to protect yourself. The intrinsic strength
developed in martial arts practice affects your daily life by creating a strong sense
    of self-esteem.
  • Improved self-image - is the result of the positive attitude, knowledge, and inner
discipline that create a structured method of coping with challenges with a positive attitude.
Certainty - that you are in control of yourself and your safety are a common benefit of the martial art training.
  • Belief in success - results from succeeding on a regular basis in both the long and short-term goals of martial arts practice.
